Jade is kind, understanding and very professional, which made a very sad situation for me a very pleasant experience. She is like a friend at a time I needed to be comforted and I felt reassured that everything would be taken care of. The gentlemen also went the extra mile for me on a couple of things and there were no hidden fees or extra costs involved. Nothing was too much trouble and I would highly recommend them to everyone wanting to be sure of a well organised, respectful, professional service for themselves or a loved one at a time which is distressing enough, without the worry, as they take care of everything.

Went to Exeter & district after my daughter died , Jade was absolutely fantastic, nothing was too much and she was so caring and compassionate , really helped make the whole process as stress free as it could be , jade was always available to answer any questions that arose , I would highly recommend!

Following the sad loss of my father in April, we contacted Jade and Rob at Exeter & District Funeral Service to make arrangements. From start to finish, Jade and the team were kind, compassionate, caring and knowledgeable. They helped us with all the practical aspects of organising the funeral, and provided excellent support and advice throughout the whole process. I cannot thank them enough for looking after my father, nothing was too much trouble and I am sure my dad would have approved. Thank you so much from all of us.

Jade was such a wonderful person to work with, helping us through all the complexities of admin arranging a funeral. Her lovely personality, warmth and sensitivity made such a difference at a difficult time of bereavement. I can’t recommend the service highly enough.

As those who know, there are no words to describe the pain and sense of loss at the sudden and unexpected loss of a daughter. I lost mine some years ago and now my wife is experiencing the same sorrow and anguish having lost her beloved Amber. However, the support and guidance given by Jade at the Exeter and District Funeral Service helped with the heartache at this impossible time. Their guidance, and tenderness, together with the advice and support was second to none. They understood our wishes and delivered a most moving goodbye for Amber. We will remain forever grateful to them and it will help us deal with the grief. A firm to be trusted and one that brings comfort at the most difficult of times.

From the moment I spoke to Jade on the phone, just days after my Dad died, to the second we picked up his ashes, Jade was amazing. Despite having never met my Dad, she seemed to get him and understand our wishes immediately. We are not a serious family and she was receptive to my (perhaps inappropriate!) dark humour, but was extremely sensitive, compassionate and professional throughout. Jade and the staff looked after Dad impeccably, and talked us through many different options, when I didn't have the first clue where, or how, to start planning for a funeral that was very unexpected. Jade chose Richard as my dad's celebrant, and similarly, he seemed to immediately click with us and understand Dad's personality through a few pictures and stories. He helped me turn an idea for Dad's funeral into a reality. Jade and the team helped to make a very difficult time a lot easier, and we cannot thank them enough. Dad's service was wonderful, just the send off he would have wanted, and that is truly down to Jade and the team. I just had a few ideas... Thank you, again. You've impacted our lives in ways you'll never know.

We experienced Jade as being very helpful, flexible and compassionate. She supported us to create our own funeral ceremony, which was more informal and family lead. She was very responsive throughout, to requests and queries. Jade went out of her way to make things easier for us. We would definitely recommend her to anyone needing support for a funeral at such a tender time.
