About Us

About Exeter & District Funeral Services

Exeter & District Funeral Services was established in 2010 and now plays an important role in the Exeter community.

The team at our Exeter funeral home will provide advice at every stage of the funeral planning process, and will arrange an individual and unique funeral to help you celebrate the life of your loved one. We have our own service venue on-site.

Here at Exeter & District Funeral Service we also offer an affordable prepaid funeral plan, Choice, so that you can arrange and pay for a funeral in advance. This will protect your family from rising costs and remove uncertainty about your wishes.

If you would like to talk to us about planning a funeral, or our Choice plan, please come and see us in any of our funeral homes, or if you’d rather we can arrange a home visit. We’re also available 24 hours a day on the phone so if you need anything please don’t hesitate to call your local funeral home.

    Meet the Team

    Jade Cross

    Funeral Director

I joined Funeral Partners in February 2021 as a part time Funeral Arranger, after spending many years working within the care industry. I have been able to bring many of my transferrable skills to my new role and I continue to support and look after families and their loved ones at their time of need. I can honestly say that being able to ease the burden felt by the families I look after brings the greatest job satisfaction I have ever experienced and is one of the most cherished parts of my job.

I have received exceptional training in my time with Funeral Partners and have now progressed to a full time position at Exeter & District Funeral Service following an opportunity which arose at the same time I was planning to move from the South West coast to the City of Exeter. I am also a Mental Health First Aider and Bereavement and Loss Trainer within Funeral Partners and I am available to all staff members throughout the Country, something I feel honoured to be able to do.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my three daughters and occasionally reading the odd book in peace.

    Freya McGregor

    Funeral Arranger

I joined Exeter & District Funeral Service in June 2023, and have previously worked in other Funeral Homes in the surrounding areas. Having spent most of my working life in the funeral profession I understand the importance of providing the best service and support possible to all the families that place their trust in us to look after their loved one’s funeral arrangements. I take great pride in being able to help people in times of bereavement and strive to deliver individual tailored funerals to each family I look after.
