If it was possible, Jade and her team deserve more than 5 stars.
At a deeply difficult time, the kindness, compassion and support was beyond measure. Jade certainly did go the extra mile taking our mum back home. We felt Jade understood our wishes and delivered a wonderful and moving farewell for mum, she would have approved, thank you so much.
We certainly would highly recommend Exeter & District Furneral Service.

The team at Exeter and District Funeral Service were brilliant, not just professional but also very personable. They made the whole process very straightforward, nothing was too much trouble and they were very generous with their time. Jade above all showed real care for the family and the deceased, she is undoubtedly passionate about her job and this made the decision of choosing this company so much easier. Highly recommended:)

What can i say. In the space of a couple of years we lost my beloved brother and my step father . Exeter and disrict funeral service and in particular Jade made the process so easy and stress free when it came to saying are goodbyes.
She was always at the end of the phone when needed and even visited my step father at the care home when he was on end of life care ,and even helped when it came to sensitivily arranging disposal of personal belongings
I have no hesitation in recommending the company and in partiular Jade.

These were only funeral directors, including the so called 'cremation only' ones, who would accommodate my late wife's wishes to remain at home after death, transport her to the crematorium when it was time, respectfully conduct a minimally attended cremation and return her ashes to the family after. Jade, the Manager, was professional, respectful, kind and accommodating throughout, and her service charges after were very competitive.
Cannot recommend her and her team highly enough.

A zillion stars would not be adequate to convey just how amazing Jade has been since our son, Sam Strachan, left us so suddenly on 5th July 2026.
Being a biker, a videographer, and a drummer, there was a lot we wanted to celebrate about Sam's life and a concert / gig seemed the obvious way to do it.
Jade's skill set knows no bounds ... from taking charge and caring for our loved ones, being my one stop PA for everyone involved, programme debugging when a fund page was playing up, to designing Sam's beautiful gig booklet. If this was not enough her care for grieving relatives has been truly overwhelming. Over the past month as we have worked up to the gig we have laughed together and had the odd tear together too.
My Sam would have loved Jade, she is definitely now part of his forever gang. Bless you Jade, your kindness, compassion and skill set have made this whole journey so much easier, we'll forever be grateful that Sam sent us to you my darling xxx
