This eye-catching window display was created by Funeral Arranger Marie Frankum in a show of support for several national awareness campaigns throughout May, Hospiscare Will Fortnight, Dying Matters Awareness Week, Mental Health Awareness Week and Dementia Action Week.
Hospiscare work with local solicitors during their Will Fortnight who prepare or update a Will and waive their fee so it can be donated to Hospiscare instead.
The concept for the window was ‘lending a helping hand’, and Marie invited the local community to stop-by anytime during Dying Matters Awareness Week for an informal chat and to answer specific questions.
Marie said: “Our doors are always open and we are here to lend a helping and guiding hand to anyone who needs it. “
Marie has extended her support to the hospice by giving a talk on Advanced Communication Skills in Loss, Grief and Bereavement.
